Weary but home

We are home now after a very emotionally tiring trip to Addis.

Here we are with our 4 at Layla House.

Lots to tell, but it will have to wait for energy and desire to catch up with me.

Rich and Lisa,
It's so good to see you all together. Now the really hard part starts, huh? I'm praying for your family that Jesus will give you all peace, hope, joy, and energy as He binds your hearts together over these next few months. Can't wait for an udate!

Congrats! Where in Wa do you live?
IF by any chance you noticed Genet and Bizayehu while you were at Layla, could you email me and let me know...or if you have pics? I have found a couple of Genet, but none of Bizayehu..I am getting a little antsy. I hope you are settling in! DEBLLEW

Rich,
I can't find your personal email address. Can you email me. I wanted to ask what you know about Martha 9 and Melkem 11 at Layla House. We so can't afford this right now, but they are the same age and gender we've discussed. Just testing the waters right now.

Hello...

I am in the process of writing an article about transracial/transnational adoption for a national parenting magazine, and another blogger (Dawn at This Woman's Work) pointed me in your direction, as a possible interviewee. I know that things are hectic for you at the moment (Congratulations, by the way!), but if you are so inclined please contact me at deesha (at) deeshaphilyaw (dot) com.

Thank you, and all the best!
